Ordering
To make ordering from New Pig convenient, we offer several ways to place an order. Please refer to the information in this section to learn about ordering options, how to view previous orders, how to update your shipping information and more. How do I place an order at newpig.com?
When you've chosen the products you would like to purchase, simply add them to your Shopping Cart. Then, click "Checkout" and complete the information on each of the first 4 Steps: Shipping Address, Shipping Carrier, Billing, and Review. Your order will be submitted when you click "Submit My Order" and you'll receive a Confirmation! It's that simple. If you have a question that needs answered before you submit your order, no problem! Just choose the "Place order on hold" option on the Review page and a "pigger" will contact you with an answer before your final order is processed.
How can I place an order without using the website?
If you don't want to place your order online, New Pig offers 5 additional ways to order:
- Call 1-800-HOT-HOGS (468-4647). Service hours are 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. "Live" piggers will answer your call within 3 rings. No frustrating phone menus on Pork Avenue!
- Fax us anytime at 1-800-621-PIGS (621-7447).
- Mail your order to: New Pig, One Pork Avenue,PO Box 304,Tipton, PA 16684-0304.
- Send an email to hothogs@newpig.com.
- You can submit your purchase order through Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Call for more details!
What is Express Ordering?
Pigs may not fly, but the time it takes to complete your order sure will thanks to our streamlined Express Checkout process. Registered users can quickly set up Express Checkout by saving preferred Shipping & Billing Addresses, Payment Method, and Shipping Notifications (such as "Ask me for a P.O.#" or "Allow me to choose a carrier"). Then simple orders are completed in one click from Shopping Cart to Review. Special Shipping Notifications only add one step to the process!
What is the Quick Order Form?
The Quick Order Form is used when you know the product item numbers and you want to add them directly to your Shopping Cart without viewing the product page. It is found at the top of the website. Click on "Quick Order", enter your item# and quantity, then click "Add to Cart."
What are Saved Shopping Carts?
If you routinely order the same products, you may create them as a "Saved Shopping Cart." Then they'll be just a click away from Checkout the next time you need to stock up. Save as many carts as you like and name them whatever you want — the sky's the limit!
To create a Saved Shopping Cart, simply sign in and add those items to the Shopping Cart. To the right of the cart, click the "Save this Cart" link. You'll be asked to name the saved cart. Save as many carts and you like and name them whatever you want.
To purchase items in your Saved Cart, sign in and go to the "Account" area and select "Shopping Tools." Select the checkbox next to the name of the Saved Shopping Cart you wish to purchase and click "Add to Cart." You may change quantities or remove a product after it is in your current Shopping Cart. Just click on the Saved Shopping Cart name link to preview the items and quantity before clicking the "Add to Cart" button.
If you'd like to remove one of your Saved Shopping Carts, choose the "Remove" link to the right of the Saved Shopping Cart you'd like to remove and "Presto" — it's gone!
What is a Saved Shopping List?
Create Saved Shopping List for easy access to items you're considering or for your favorite PIG® products — the choice is yours. After sign in, add items to your list from any product page by clicking on the "Add to Shopping List" link. There's no limit to the number of items on your list. To view your list, go to the "Account" area at the top of the website, click "Shopping Tools" and select Shopping List. To purchase, choose the checkbox next to the item(s) and click "Add to Cart." Items will remain on your list until you remove them with the "Remove" or "Remove All" link.
How can I repeat purchase from a previous order?
To locate a previous order, sign in and click "View Orders" in the "Account" area at the top of the website. Choose "Reorder" to see all of your orders for the past 90 days. To locate an order for a different date range, enter the time frame in the indicated boxes. Choose your order by using the displayed fields and click on the Confirmation# Link to see the order details.
How can I order items purchased previously?
To view a list of the items you've purchased, sign in and click "View Orders" in the "Account" area at the top of the website. Choose "Purchased Items" for a list of the New Pig item numbers you've purchased in the past 3 years. To view the product page for a selected item, click the item number link. To add the item to your Shopping Cart, click the checkbox, enter a quantity and click the "Add to Cart" button.
How can I add or edit my Shipping Address?
Your shipping address may be added or edited during the Checkout process. You may also add, edit or remove your addresses in the "Account" area of the website. To maintain shipping addresses when not ordering, sign in and click on the "Account" link at the top of the website. Choose "Checkout Settings" then select "Shipping."
How can I add or edit my Billing Address?
Your billing address may be added or edited during the Checkout process. You may also add, edit or remove your addresses in the "Account" area of the website. To maintain billing addresses when not ordering, sign in and click on the "Account" link at the top of the website. Choose "Checkout Settings" then select "Billing."
How do I add or edit my Credit Card information?
Your credit card information may be added during the Checkout process. You may also add or remove your credit card information in the "Account" area of the website. To maintain credit card information when not ordering, sign in and click on the "Account" link at the top of the website. Choose "Checkout Settings" then select "Credit Cards."
What payment methods are available?
New Pig accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Smart Pay (U.S. Government credit cards). If you prefer our "Send Invoice(Net Terms)" option, New Pig terms are net 30 days.
Are the online prices in American dollars?
Yes, prices on newpig.com are in American dollars.
Do I need to register/sign in to place an order online?
No, you do not need to register to place an order at newpig.com. However, if you want to enjoy all of the benefits of being a newpig.com user such as Express Checkout, Order Tracking, Saved Shopping Carts and more, you will need to register or sign in.
