PorkChoppers Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Multiple Sclerosis Society

Tipton, PA, May 3, 2011 - The PorkChoppers Cruise for Clues, a motorcycle ride to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society, will take place at New Pig Corporation in Tipton, PA on Sunday, June 12. One of the day's highlights will include prizes for riders who collect the most answers to the clues found at historic sights along the way in Blair and Bedford Counties.

"We wanted to create an event that would be out-of-the-ordinary for the community," said Alonna Mottern, one of the event's planners. "Cruise for Clues is a really unique way to learn more about the region's history while still helping this important cause."

The PorkChoppers is a division of the New Pig Bike Team which raises funds to benefit the MS Society. "Hopefully, this will become an annual event to help raise public awareness of multiple sclerosis," said New Pig Corporation Chairman, Ben Stapelfeld. Here's a fun way, and an educational experience at the same time, to help promote a greater understanding of the scope of this disease."

Registration is from 9:30 - 11:30am. The trip will end at 4:30pm with a dinner at the Swiss Club in Altoona. Cost is $20 per driver, $15 per rider. T-shirt, food and entertainment included.

The ride is open to all cyclists, motorists and their passengers.
