NEW PIG INTRODUCES FAT MAT™ SUPER-ABSORBENT MAT

Tipton, PA - March 26, 2008 — New Pig Corporation has introduced the FAT MAT™ Super-Absorbent Mat for special applications that require mats to last longer and absorb more.

Sixteen layers of thermally bonded polypropylene enable the FAT MAT™ Super-Absorbent Mat to absorb up to 56 ounces of oils, coolants, solvents and water per 20" x 16" pad. Its exclusive dimple pattern speeds wicking action across the Mat and transfers liquids into the absorbent inner layers to keep moisture away from the surface. And its melt blown fine fibers grip the floor to help prevent slips and falls. Durable even when saturated, the Mat features a tough, spunbond top layer that will not rip, tear or fray-even under heavy foot traffic. Also, the chemically-resistant Mat won't degrade and is safe for use with most liquids.

Convenient and economical, the FAT MAT™ Super-Absorbent Mat is available in pads or rolls and has easy-tear perforations so that you use only what you need; reducing waste and saving money. In addition, the Mat can be wrung out and incinerated after use to reduce waste or for fuels blending.
