This small, steel Funnel with Overfill Preventer seals to meet closed container regs, and it won't "burp" back while you pour! Our patented Burpless® design prevents pressure buildup, so you get quick, continuous flow with no splashback.

- Specially designed with buttress threads for secure attachment to poly containers
- Small, low-profile Steel Funnel is designed for pouring into small containers; ideal for use on 5-gallon poly drums and pails
- Burpless® internal vent tubes prevent pressure buildup and "burping" back
- Nitrile gasket and locking mechanism completely seal lid to help reduce vapor emissions; 5" diameter fill mouth limits the escape of vapor, odor and VOC emissions when open, even when used on large drums
- Includes a PIG® Drum Overfill Preventer that closes off when the drum is almost full, so you know when to stop pouring
- Latch can be padlocked (lock not included) to prevent unauthorized access to drum contents

40 CFR 262.34(c)(1) - Satellite Accumulation Areas allow generators of hazardous waste to accumulate as much as 55 gallons of hazardous waste or one quart of acutely hazardous waste in containers at or near the point of generation. The container must be kept closed when not in use, must be under the control of the operator generating the waste and must be properly labeled.
40 CFR 264.1086(c)(1)(ii) - Level one containers must have closure devices that, "form a continuous barrier over the container openings." When these closure devices are in place, there can be, "no visible holes, gaps or other open spaces into the interior of the container."
40 CFR 264.173 - Containers holding hazardous waste, "must always be closed during storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste."
40 CFR 63.744(a)(1) - Aerospace manufacturing and rework facilities must, "place used solvent laden (materials) used for cleaning in bags or other closed containers."
