Product Description
- Use Socks to confine spill before it can spread; use Mats and Pillows to soak up spill
- Absorbents are specially treated to absorb high concentrations of corrosive liquids, such as 98% sulfuric acid and 30% sodium hydroxide, better than any other absorbent in the market
- Lime green drum stands out, so you can find it when you need it; black lid hides dirt and grime
- Absorbents are packed in protective baskets with lid for long-term protection against UV degradation; lift-out baskets provide easy, organized access to contents for quick spill response
- Integrated ledges molded into container allow Kit to be moved with forklift
- Large, color-coded label makes identification fast and accurate during an emergency
- Lift-off, nonthreaded lid allows for easy access; Container is not rated for shipping

29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1)(vii) - Under an OSHA requirement, "DOT specified salvage drums or containers and suitable quantities of proper absorbents shall be kept available and used in areas where spills, leaks, or ruptures may occur."
40 CFR 112.7 - SPCC planning requirements state that facilities subject to these regulations must have written plans in place discussing the products, countermeasures and procedures that are in place, or will be taken by the facility to prevent discharge of oil into waters of the United States.
