Product Description
- 15 cubic-foot wheeled container rolls quickly to a spill site — 31" width fits through standard doors and aisles; can also be moved by forklift
- Includes absorbent mats, socks and wipers to contain, absorb, and clean most acids, bases and unidentified liquids
- Absorbents are specially treated to more quickly absorb more chemicals — including higher concentrations of corrosive liquids such as 98 percent sulfuric acid and 30 percent sodium hydroxide
- Also includes temporary disposal bags and ties, emergency response guidebook and instruction manual
- Durable UV-inhibited polyethylene container features a lockable hinged lid that closes tightly to keep out water, and dirt; ideal for indoor or outdoor use
- Rounded lid keeps water and debris from accumulating on top of kit
- Refill contents available (KITR303, sold separately)
- Custom colors available; call for details
- Container is mounted on 5" rubber wheels for rolling over smooth surfaces like pavement and indoor floors; wheels brake to keep Kit in place

29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1)(vii) - Under an OSHA requirement, "DOT specified salvage drums or containers and suitable quantities of proper absorbents shall be kept available and used in areas where spills, leaks, or ruptures may occur."
40 CFR 112.7 - SPCC planning requirements state that facilities subject to these regulations must have written plans in place discussing the products, countermeasures and procedures that are in place, or will be taken by the facility to prevent discharge of oil into waters of the United States.
