The NALGENE® Stormwater Sampler is a convenient, easy-to-install device that eliminates the need to mobilize a field crew to collect stormwater samples. Just install a Mounting Kit (sold separately) into your outfall area prior to a storm, then place a Stormwater Sampler in and retrieve collected sample after a storm or at a pre-determined interval. - Collects a full liter of sample water within the first 30 minutes of a storm
- Position the reusable Mounting Kit (GEN855) once, then just reload with samplers; no programming or complicated trip-switch mechanisms
- Water flows through the sampler's collection funnel and directly into a NALGENE® sample bottle; when the bottle is full, a floating ball valve seals off the sample collection port
- When the sample is retrieved, the collection funnel is discarded and replaced with the included leakproof closure for lab transport; suspended solids are either collected in the bottle or trapped by the Mounting Kit's collection screen for visual evaluation
- Can be used in a variety of outfall areas, including storm grates, ditches and drains; instructions for a variety of mounting options included with each Sampler
