Show Details...
The PIG® BUILD-A-BERM® Heavy-Duty Barrier provides permanent or semi-permanent containment in high-traffic areas on concrete, asphalt, or most sealed surfaces. Durable construction is designed to withstand indoor or outdoor traffic from trucks, loaded tow motors, and other heavy vehicles with sufficient ground clearance. Ideal for protecting storm drains from contamination in areas where liquids are handled and stored. - Constructed of 35-ounce vinyl-coated fabric with an open cell polyethylene foam rubber core; durable enough to withstand repeated drive-over traffic from heavy vehicles with sufficient ground clearance
- 2"-high Berm compresses to approximately 1/4" when driven over; springs back to shape when vehicles pass
- Pre-drilled aluminum mounting strips with steel anchors secure Berm to concrete, asphalt and most surfaces; remove anchors to reposition Berm as needed, then seal with caulking (not included)
- When used in conjunction with other 2"-high BUILD-A-BERM® Barriers, orange color indicates heavy-duty section where drivers can enter and exit; can also be used as a stand-alone Barrier
- Ends can be connected to create a Barrier of greater length; seal seams with Industrial-Strength Vinyl Cement (sold separately)
