Never pinch your fingers again while installing the lid ring on an open-head drum! The PIG® Drum Ring Spider grabs and squeezes lid rings so you don't have to do it by hand, making installation safe and simple, especially on reconditioned drums.
Product Description
- Adjustable four-legged "Spider" drops over lid and ring; simple hand crank squeezes legs tight and holds lid closed so you can easily secure the nut and bolt
- Widely spaced thread on closure mechanism tightens quickly to apply adequate pressure with limited cranking
- Powder-coated steel resists chipping, rust and corrosion
- Ideal for use on any 55-gallon open-head drum; especially helpful for reconditioned drums where lid rings can be difficult to install
