Keep drains clean and your operations Green with this value-priced, eco-friendly Filter. Without pulling the grate, you can quickly attach the biodegradable coconut-fiber material onto almost any style of drain to easily remove sediment from runoff.
Product Description
- Removes sediment from runoff to help you comply with regulations; acts as a short-term BMP for construction phase stormwater management
- Made of natural, renewable coconut fibers; ideal when "Green" products are desired or required
- Strong enough to withstand UV, weather and even light vehicle traffic, but biodegradable for worry-free disposal when replacement is necessary
- Flexible material gives you versatility to use Filter on flat, curb-style, vertical or domed beehive inlets
- To install, simply secure to top of grate with included cable ties and hold-down pads; cuts easily using scissors or sharp knife for custom, in-field fit with no special tools or effort
- Won't complicate maintenance; grate can still be pulled for quick drain access, and Filter surface sweeps clean to maintain water flow
- For best performance, overlap drain opening at least 1" on each edge
