World’s best stuff for leaks, drips and spills.®
If you need to ship hazardous materials by road, rail or air – they need to be packaged in UN Rated containers for hazardous waste that meet stringent requirements. These standards apply to drums, pails, cans, boxes and bags – and overpacks. An overpack contains and provides protection to one or more intact, non-leaking packages. If you’re shipping a container of haz waste that isn’t intact (damaged, defective or leaking) – you need a salvage drum (they meet more stringent requirements than overpacks) with the primary container surrounded by absorbents in case of a leak during transport. Sometimes, a container is dual-rated as both an overpack and a salvage drum (like many you’ll find below). When you’re ready to ship this type of container, remove the marking that doesn’t apply.
