Not for IPA

This indicator when tested in water works fine. DO NOT use it for solvents. I had three overfills with the indicator in place. I was confused at first but decided to test it in water and then in solvent (IPA), (acetone) etc. The indicator does not perform as intended in solvents due to the specific gravity of the solvents vs. the specific gravity of the float. Bottom line is it doesn't work with solvents and you will overfill your drum. I do like the sealed design of the device but the material of design needs to be changed to an air float or something that floats in solvents.

Good product

it's a good product for the price and easy to use, but I'll prefer if is longer. If you're placing big quantities (i.e. 5 gallons into 55 gallon drum), because it does not goes too deep inside, it arise all of the sudden and too quickly and you barely have time to stop. If the funnel that you're using holds large amount of liquids, that can cause a problem.
