"I use these socks at home (a 100+ year old farmhouse in the western PA mountains), to direct water in my basement during the spring thaw and summer thunderstorms. I need something effective, economical and easy to use & move. These socks meet all my needs. They are big enough to do the job, easy to place, conform to the uneven contours of my floor, and can be easily removed when they are fully saturated. They absorb some of the water that comes into the basement, but when wet they are heavy enough to direct the water into the existing drain. I buy them every year - they are fantastic!"
