Description

In high-traffic areas with a catch basin, there's no easier way to control oily runoff and sediment - and avoid stormwater fines.
  • Below-grate design stays intact in areas with high vehicle traffic
  • 18"-deep accumulation pocket collects sediment and oil while geotextile fabric lets stormwater flow through
  • Excess flow ports help avoid blockage during high water flow
  • Excess fabric around grate can be trimmed for appearance or left in place for grip during changeouts
  • Ideal when you need to capture trash, sediment, silt and hydrocarbons
  • Add strength and capacity by fitting heavy-duty Retainer Rods (sold separately) through attached loops

Low price, high quality very effective

We find that the Pig Drain Inserts are very effective in removing contamination from our storm water drains. We remove them quarterly and rinse in our waste treatment and replace them yearly. They are durable and easy to install. Highly recommended.

Great Product

We just purchased this to see if it would help in keeping our drain clean. We have a large drain in our warehouse and it keeps getting plugged with stuff that is washed down the drain. We have placed this in the drain under the grates. It is catching a lot of the stuff that would normally go down the drain. We have spent numerous hours cleaning this drain , now with this drain insert, we are hoping this will not happen again. I will up date this in a week or so.

Drain Inserts

We've used the Pig drain inserts for 3 years in 44 stormwater drain inlets at our facility. We find them easy to install and they have eliminated the light oil sheen discharges that occasionally develop from our parking lots, roadways, and minor oil leakage.
