Description

New and improved drain guard design at a lower price! Catch basin insert protects drains of all sizes in high-traffic areas with better filtering of oil, sediment, debris and trash from stormwater runoff.
  • New! Redesigned for better filtration, improved handling and all-around performance
  • Affordably priced so you can protect more drains at your facility; no need to pick and choose which ones you can afford to safeguard
  • Frameless design is ideal for small drains of any shape that don’t work with our Adjustable Frame Storm Drain Filter or Catch Basin Insert Filtration System
  • Heavy-duty, hi-viz strap allows easier handling and removal
  • Treats more water and removes more oil than basic storm drain filters; accumulation pocket fits shallow drains to hold sediment, debris and trash
  • Four-stage filtration: PET construction removes contaminants from stormwater at multiple stages, increasing the amount of pollutants captured
  • Stormwater flows through drain grate onto fabric shelf (Stage 1), passes over filter ring (Stage 2) into collection bag (Stage 3) and over four sets of filter strips (Stage 4)
  • Patented filter ring channels water to center of collection bag to prevent untreated water from escaping through overflow ports
  • Filter strips float freely like tentacles to remove hydrocarbons as water moves through collection bag
  • Overflow ports help prevent blockage during high water flow
  • Fits circular drain sizes 24” to 48” in diameter
  • Fits irregular, rectangular and square drain sizes 24” to 48” width to 24” to 54” length
  • Trim product to allow 3” of material to extend above grate
  • Pore size is 0.074 mm, 74 microns, 0.0029 inches or 200 sieve

No slop in my pipe.

I have been using the drain filters for 2 years now. I depend on the filter to keep mud, silt, and grease out of my storm water pond. Prior to using the filters we had to put someone down in the collection box to dig out the slop. Keep up the good work.

As advertised

We had mud and debris continually blocking a storm drain in our parking lot. We placed the PIG Drain Insert under the grate and didn't have to wait long to see it work. A major thunderstorm rolled through heavy rain causing mud and silt to run to the drain. Your product caught it all before it went into the pipe. Later, we removed it, dumped it out and replaced it back in the drain. That's sure a lot better that sending someone down the drain to shovel out the mud. Thanks for a great drain product

Great Item!

This item is great at catching the oil run off in our parking lot. However, it does of course have a capacity, and we tend to have to replace them often, otherwise it is a great product.
