These absorbent mats work perfectly under work benches and even in front of ice machines to prevent slips, they last a long time when dealing with water.
This product is what is says. I grips
I boutght the PIG Grippy Absorbent mats for use under the coffee machines in our office. They are fantastic! The mats stay adhered to the floor, but remove easily for disposal. Thankfully, I do not need to worry about staff slipping or tripping on an inferior product. The only suggestion is that I wish they came in a color other than blue (maybe brown or dark grey?), and that the mats each be separated by the waxed sheets so that each can be removed, individually, without the need to destroy the plastic bag they are packaged in.
Delivery was quick. It does what it supposes to do. Easy to use.
Applies to floor as easily as stated, removes easily, plastic backer keeps material from floor surface
We placed it on our woork benches it woks well thanks
I know they are made for the floor but I use them on the top of my bench, its wood and can soak up and / or get oily! I previously used several blue paper towels and that fixed a mess with a new mess. These soak up what ever and last quite a lot longer than you think, its been over a week and still on first one. Stays in place and doesn't get lent all over like paper towels! If I had to pick a negative they are a little pricey for what I use them for.
We tried them in a few different areas - like the door walking from production to the office area and it seems to be stopping a lot of the chemical powder from tracking into the offices. Also seems to be keeping chem powder from tracking outside between moppings. In heavy traffic areas the corners may be loosening from the floor, but they have been down since we rec'd them
The mat was everything it was supposed to be. The adhesive is a high tack so it stays where you place it instantly, yet it can be repositioned very easily. The mat absorption is typical of New Pig - excellent. All in all a very good new product.

Pig Absorbent Mats are flame resistant in their unused state, but take on the properties of flammable liquids they absorb. Always take proper precautions against potential ignition in handling and disposal of these mats if they have absorbed flammable liquids. For further assistance, please call Technical Services.
It is normal for top layer materials to show minor variations in color between production runs. This is particularly true for the grades of materials used in consumable or disposable products such as our adhesive-backed mats. New Pig makes every effort to achieve consistent color, but some variance is possible. Perceived differences in color may also result from mat layout orientation or uneven traffic wear patterns.
