I have been using the Pig Epoxy Putty now for the last -3- years. I used it to repair the top plastic of my 1999 van radiator ( split about 8 inches long ) and I have driven it over 3 thousand miles since and it still is holding. I also used it to patch a hole in a stationary non pressurized galvanized water tank that had a 3/8 inch hole and leaked a stream at the time of patch. I inserted a small wood dowel to close the hole some and then an epoxy ball, flattened it some ( on the wet surface ) and it worked immediately ! Best of all for me , however, is the ability it affords me in adding more 3 dimensional effects to the wood carved walking sticks I make. I use it like someone would with clay, work fast, and do additional carving after hardened. In this way I get a -3- dimensional image without a larger starting stick. I also prime the topside of the stick- epoxy and carving combination -and then detail paint them and finally I brush on my finish of Polyurethane. - - thanks for a great product to enhance my art work.
