Use this filter bag drain insert to collect sediment, dirt and debris from your catch basin and meet EPA Stormwater Regs for erosion control and pollution.
- Ideal for use in the construction industry and anywhere sediment collection is a concern
- Geotextile constructed of a monofilament polypropylene captures sand, dirt, sediment, trash, leaves, sticks and cigarette butts
- Integrated straps secure the bag in place under the drain grate without the use of rebar and cradle the grate for added support and security during installation and removal
- Straps are high-visibility; easily seen by workers and compliance inspectors
- Can handle large capacity but is manageable during maintenance; no equipment or forklift needed for removal
- For storm drains from 22" x 22" up to 28" x 28"
- Maximum flow rate 1,600 gal./minute; runoff won't cause flooding when the unit is properly maintained
- Overflow port allows excess water to release into drain during heavy flow or if filter is blocked; also provides an opening to collect samples of filtered stormwater
- UV resistant, durable and reusable
- The pore size is 0.212 mm, 212 microns, 0.0834 inches or 70 sieve
