Actually separates oil and water

"So along with the oil mats and oil pillows I also ordered the "oily water filter bucket". My main use for this system is to have our commercial air compressor, holding tank and air dryer (auto drains) plumbed into this water/oil separator system, (along with the moisture, oil collects inside of the air lines and really makes a mess of things) the bucket is where you layer the mats/pillows ie; mat, pillow, mat, pillow, mat. Plumbing the auto drain pipe into the bucket was a no brainer, as well as hooking up the supplied clear water exit hose, I primed the bucket with clean water as directed, connected the auto drain pipe to the top of the filter bucket, waited about 15 minutes until I saw the clean water coming out of the exit hose, turned the 3 auto drains back on, and for three days now this system has been separating oil & water very nicely, I have my clean water exit hose going through a small hole in the concrete wall out into a clean 5 gallon bucket that is placed just outside of the wall, in the last three days I have emptied this bucket about 5 times so far (our compressor and air dryer work extremely well getting rid of the moisture in the lines) and all 5 times I've emptied the bucket, nothing but clean clear water is disposed of. So far I am very happy with this system, it's doing exactly what it claims it's designed to do. Since it's only been a few days, I don't know how long it will be until I need to replace the mat's and pillows, I will post an update when I find out the replacement intervals, however I did order extra mats/pillows for shelf stock.
