While living in Northwest Washington State, it is a true challenge to keep the water out of everything. Before we started using the New Pig Water Hogs in our bulk fuel tanks, water would accumulate and grow anaerobic bacteria that contaminated the fuel in our stand by generators resulting in added work to drain and clean the tanks and disposal of the contaminated fuel. That trouble and expense are gone, as simple and dropping a Hog in the tank and let it eat all the water. It is easily checked once a quarter and replaced when it is full. With that success under our belt we tried placing the smaller Hogs (we call them piglets) into the fuel tanks of the forklifts, cranes, and backhoes. WOW! No more frozen fuel lines and the cost of the piglets is more than offset by the savings of not replacing expensive equipment filters. Thank you for developing innovative products that have stopped our business manager squealing about fuel maintenance cost!!
Ordered the Water hog for use in 500 gal fuel barrel that is used in the field. I received the Water Hog 2 days after I placed the order and the order was correct. I Read the directions which were simple and easy to understand. I Placed the Hog in the barrel and it has been checked several times over the past month and does not need to be replaced. Also the barrel does not have any water in the bottom, what water was in the bottom has been absorbed. I would recommend the use of this product to others.
